What does a St Austell Donation Centre Volunteer do?
A St Austell Donation Centre volunteer’s day is super busy and has a real impact. If you want to make a genuine difference to Cornwall Hospice Care in your local community while surrounded by brilliant people, apply now to volunteer with us!
Every single hour of time you gift to us as a volunteer helps us to provide excellent free care for the residents of Cornwall at both our hospice in- patient units. Your time really matters to us.
St Austell Donation Centre volunteering will include sorting all the hundreds of donations we receive daily from the general public, getting items ready for our shops to sell and engaging with our great donators. You might work on the front desk welcoming people who are donating, help us to recycle items that cannot be sold, support colleagues and volunteers across our donation centre operation to be efficient and effective at supplying our retail shops with excellent stock. You will be moving around our warehouse and sorting stations throughout your shift.
What you do to help us as a volunteer in our St Austell Donation Centre may vary in relation to the time you are available to offer us, so if you are looking to volunteer in a friendly team and welcoming, busy warehouse atmosphere, come along and meet us and see what volunteering could mean for you. We are really keen to add you to our existing local team.
